Winners of the 24th National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest have been chosen. In a batch of more than 12,000 photos from 152 countries, the judges have chosen 11 winning pictures. Take a look through the winners archive. [The Atlantic]

Paste Magazine recently released a list of the 50 best Rolling Stones songs. Now, they’ve got an infographic to accompany it, charting the “most used words” in those 50 songs, baby. [Paste]

The world’s first all-female Street Art conference opens today in Atlanta. “Living Walls, the City Speaks,” will feature film screenings, lectures, block parties, and lots of public art shows. Take a look at some of the showcased art. [Huffington Post]

With only two days left at Sojourners, I’m reflecting on some of my favorite memories from the year. One that’s at the top of the list was the night in December when I met the Milk Carton Kids after seeing them play a show with Over the Rhine in Alexandria, Va.
