In this season of Lent, we often reflect on our need for greater humility as we seek to follow Christ on the road to Calvary. In it, she contrasts "Big C" Christianity -- a kind of "manifest destiny" version of the faith -- with Generative Christianity, a way of following Jesus that embodies "humble and holy rebellion" in service to God's reign.
