There are few better ways to talk about campus sexual assault than with power duo Joe Biden and Adam Devine. After all, who wouldn’t want to hang out at a house party with the author of the Violence Against Women Act, outspoken supporter of victims, and State of the Union background entertainer?
And Adam Devine is pretty cool, too.
The two team up to take on rape culture and send a strong message about bystander intervention. Vice President Biden reminds us of the statistics: one-in-five women and one-in-sixteen men assaulted by the time they leave college. But he’s not the only one qualified to talk about sexual assault. Biden assures us: “Everyone in this room is qualified. It’s on all of us to change the culture and prevent sexual assault.”
While Vice President Biden and Adam Devine can spread the message, it’s on us to change the numbers.
