Imani Maya Stutely, donor services and database manager, comes to Sojourners from the Washington National Cathedral where she served as the campaign constituency engagement manager. Imani is passionate about using her gifts and talents to help organizations leverage technology and data to improve service delivery, foster community engagement, and drive social impact.
Prior to working in development, Imani managed statewide initiatives and led national data collections. She also advised governments, nonprofits, and enterprises on integrating business monitoring, performance management, and intra-agency communications into legacy operations to maximize social impact.
In her free time, Imani enjoys traveling with family, cooking, painting, and organizing with her faith community, Metropolitan AME Church. Raised in Prince George’s County Maryland and now residing in Washington, D.C., Imani is a proud D.C. metropolitan area native and enjoys activating her faith by working in community.
Imani is a 2013 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School of Information Systems Management, earning a master’s degree in public policy and management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration marketing from Duquesne University.
