Bella Bell is the social media and communications assistant at Sojourners. She is excited to join the editorial team and deepen her understanding of communications within a nonprofit organization.
Bella grew up with the Salvation Army, which means she has many places to call home, most recently Tampa, Fla. She studied English literature and psychology at Wheaton College, where she was actively involved in residential life and the mock trial team. Bella studied abroad for a summer, traveling to Palestine, Turkey, Greece, and Italy.
In 2020, feeling overwhelmed and confused, Bella sought a space for diverse conversations about faith and politics. After a friend shared a Sojourners article with her, she discovered that Sojourners was the very place she was looking for. Bella hopes to connect with more young people trying to integrate their understanding of faith and politics and to show them they are not alone in this journey.
