Joel Brandon Looper has a PhD from the University of Aberdeen. His first book, A Protestantism without Reformation: What Dietrich Bonhoeffer Saw in America is forthcoming from Baylor University Press. Brandon’s work has appeared in the LA Review of Books, the Australian Broadcasting Company's "Religion and Ethics," Notre Dame's Church Life Journal, the Other Journal, and Leadership Journal.
