Members of the Christian Peacemaker Team (CPT) in Jerusalem announced publicly that they would ride the city's #18 bus for several hours on Sunday, March 10. CPT hoped to act as a deterrent to the type of bombing attacks that struck the #18 bus on the two previous Sundays.

IKEA, the self-proclaimed "furnishers of the world," pulled out of an Indian rug-making factory after a video revealed the use of child labor there. Kailash Satyarthi, who made the video, received a Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for helping to establish the "Rugmark" label on all rugs that are made without child labor.
